Itinerary (subject to change):
Saturday, May 20: Arrival in Milan, check-in at Rosa Grand Milano, dinner & wine included
Sunday, May 21: Breakfast in hotel + free morning in Milan. Drive to Late morning departure Milan, drive to Franciacorta, a small wine-producing area in Lombardy, northern Italy that is famous for its high-quality sparkling wines, which are made very much in the image of Champagne. Lunch in a winery in Franciacorta, followed by drive to Villa Cordevigo for a 3 night stay. Dinner at Villa Cordevigo.
Monday, May 22: Time in Verona
Tuesday, May 23: Breakfast in hotel, followed by free time in Verona. Visit and lunch at Wine Estate in Valpolicella wine region. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat tour at Lake Garda - Italy’s largest lake and a popular holiday location in northern Italy. Dinner in Sirmione
Wednesday, May 24: Breakfast in hotel, followed by a drive to Mantova. Enjoy a nice cultural visit of the city + lunch. In the afternoon, drive to Bologna and check in for 3 nights at Palazzo di Varignana, a beautiful hotel located in the countryside near Bologna. Light dinner at the hotel
Thursday, May 25: Relax at Palazzo in the countryside. Afternoon pasta cooking in the heart of the city with tasting at the end followed by dinner in a restaurant in heart of Bologna.
Friday, May 26: Drive to Maranello for visit to Ferrari Museum, followed by lunch at traditional Balsamic Vinegar Producer in Modena. In the afternoon, drive 30 minutes and stop for visit and tasting at Lambrusco wine producer Cantina Paltrinieri Back to Bologna and dinner in a nice restaurant.
Saturday, May 27: Time to say goodbye! We will help you arrange transfers to the airport/train/hotel of your choice. We can can also assist in an extension, if you would like to travel anywhere else!
